Our Ministry Branches

Jesus taught, "I am the vine, you are the branches."  In this teaching Christ reminds us to stay rooted to God in order to bear fruit in our lives and in our world.   Here at St. Stephen's our ministries are "living branches" of God's love, enabling the church to reach out into the lives of individuals and our community to share the good news of the Gospel!

Worship and Music

We believe worship is a participatory event where we come before God in community and learn from each other while being inspired by songs of praise, hymns of tradition, and God's WORD as it speaks through the Holy Spirit.

Missions & Outreach

Responsible for educating, coordinating, and implementing Mission Outreach through the Congregation in order to respond to congregational, local, conference, or world needs.  We work to build relationships and nurturing in the church community and between our fellowship and the larger community.

Ministry of Talents

Made up of three committees, this ministry coordinates fundraising, fosters the sharing of time, tithe and talents from the congregation, and works to provide meals and fellowship opportunities in the life of the congregation and our connection to the community.

Faith Formation

We ensure the coordination and implementation of all church education and faith development programs. It provides diverse opportunities for various ages and interests within the UCC tradition.

Technology

In an ever-changing world, staying up to date on the latest technology is essential. Our technology ministry helps us share God's Word utilizing streaming, social media and other avenues.

Facilities and Operations

This ministry is responsible for caring for the church property, all equipment, and furnishings.

Additionally, it oversees the operation of the church cemetery.
