Welcome!

No Matter Who You Are...
No Matter Where You Are From...
No Matter What Your Experience With Church...
You Are Welcome With Us!

Worship
We gather in a service of worship at 9:30 am on Sunday.

Come and explore your faith with us in a service of worship that draws on tradition but has its finger on the pulse of today. During worship you may find contemporary songs, Christian favorites, and traditional hymns.
You might hear the electric guitar or bass, a keyboard, and even an organ.

Come as you are...God doesn't care what you wear and neither do we!

We are a congregation of many different ages, walks of life, and demographics.
We share a desire to know, grow and show God's love.
Come, visit us and experience our hospitality!
No matter who you are or where you are from, you are welcome here!

About
A Welcoming Congregation in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
St Stephen's UCC has its roots in the German Reformed tradition and was founded as a community church in the borough. St. Stephen's became part of the Evangelical and Reformed Church of America and then joined the United Church of Christ at its inception in 1957. We are a member of the North Penn Association of churches in the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. We are also a member of the Pennridge Ministerium. St Stephen's strives to know, grow, and show God's love and be living branches reaching out to share Gospel love in the community around us!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
SHOWING GOD'S LOVE

St. Stephen's has several outreach ministries that directly impact the lives of those living in our neighborhood:

*BLESSING BOXES: Located on Arch St. in front of the church. The Blessing Boxes are community supported and function as "Bring What You Can and Take What You Need." They have been self-perpetuating since they were installed. Please only bring items that fit inside one of the three boxes.

*SECOND SATURDAY: Every Second Saturday of the month, St. Stephen's hosts a free lunch from 11:30 am to 1 pm and invites people to visit our Clothing Closet. The event is held in our Fellowship Hall. Clothing and Food are FREE.

*CLOTHING CLOSET: St. Stephen's Clothing Closet is open on the Second Saturday of every month from 11:30 am to 1 pm and on Wednesdays from 10 am to 11:30 am. All are welcome.

*GUTH LITERACY TEAM: During the school year, we have a group of volunteers who go to Guth Elementary twice each week to read with students and help them with literacy. Background checks are required but volunteers are welcome!

Our Vision, Our Mission, Our Calling
Ministries = our "Living Branches"
Our mission at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ is to be compassionate, to be inclusive, and to walk with Jesus. Through our different ministries that act as our branches, we reach out to the community to lend a hand, support those in need, and share Christ's radical hospitality and grace with all whom we meet.
